OBLIGATORY INVITATIONS TO 2026 EVENTS
Events taking place between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026
Articles of the UCI regulations relating to obligatory invitations to events for teams are 2.1.007 bis, 2.14.038 and 2.14.051. Relevant UCI rankings are available on the UCI website and on this page, the final rankings of the 2025 season are available and dated 19 October 2025.
As concerns the following provisions, Organisers and Teams must respect Article 1.2.049 (or 2.1.007bis if applicable) The organiser shall, at least 60 days in advance, invite the team by sending general information. At least 50 days before the race (or 70 days for the best UCI ProTeams, in application of article 2.1.007bis), the team shall inform the organiser in writing (letter, fax, email) whether it wishes to participate in the race or whether it wishes to decline the invitation.

From the 2026 season, UCI ProSeries organisers must invite the first 5 UCI ProTeams on the UCI World Team Ranking, as considered on the last day of the previous season. The organiser must also invite the UCI ProTeams of the host country.
